Try one or more of our tried and true money spells. Here I open my grimoire to you and give you my most effective money jar spell, full moon money spell and personal money spell chant. Remember! You must believe it will work and it will. Tried and True Money Jar Here’s my tried and true money jar spell. Remember – money IS energy. Keep that in mind…it IS obtainable and there is plenty for everyone! And then some! What You’ll Need: A glass jar with metal lid 2 herbs of your choice (choose spices from the kitchen if need be!) that you relate to money or prosperity. These should be dried but can be loose leaf or powder. Whatever you have! 1 herb of your choice that is a ROAD opener (I use john the conqueror root but hot spices like red chili flakes work too!) Paper and pen 3 coins Sugar or maple syrup (if you need money NOW choose sugar, maple syrup works quickly too but keeps the money flowing a little longer) 1, 3, or 7 tealight or spell candles (I use white or green) Lighter/matches What To Do: Cleanse all of your money jar spell supplies by whatever method you prefer. Set the mood. Light candles, light incense, etc. Write your intention on the piece of paper. I write mine three times but you can do this however you’d like. Roll the paper towards you. Place in the jar. With each herb, blow on it and then put it into the jar. Visualize money flowing to you freely throughout the process. Then put the 3 coins in the jar and say, “by three times three, for the highest good of all, money flow freely to me.” Pour the sugar or syrup over the herbs, coins, and paper. Cap the jar with the lid. Shake the jar gently and say this money spell chant, “The roads are open, no blocks shall there be, by the power of three times three, money flow to me. So mote it be.” Burn a candle on top of the jar. NEVER LEAVE UNATTENDED! SAFETY FIRST! I like to burn a candle on my jars daily for 7 or 9 days and in between I shake the jar everyday and pray the same prayer. Easy Money Candle Spell I’ve been doing simple money spells with candles for decades and they always work! Try this easy money candle spell. What You’ll Need: a green chime/spell candle (or tealight) a pinch of basil or mint a pinch of cinnamon olive oil (about a teaspoon) a pin or knife for carving into wax matches/lighter candle holder or firesafe plate/burner What to Do: Cleanse your space and your money candle spell supplies. Dim the lights and get into an alpha state of mind (relaxed and open). Close your eyes and visualize your intention. Be clear in your intention and visualize it actually happening OR having already happened. Open your eyes and carve the $ symbol into your candle 3, 7, 9, or 13 times. Gently roll your candle in the olive oil (if you’re using a tealight, drip a few drops on top of it), the entire time visualizing and speaking your intentions. Next take a pinch of basil or mint and roll the candle in it (if you’re using a tealight, just sprinkle a bit on the top…but not too much!) Do the same with the cinnamon. Just a tad. Cinnamon amplifies your intentions! Light the candle and place in holder/burner/firesafe dish. Next, stare at the flame and say this money spell chant, “money flow freely to me (and my family if you’d like to include your family), money flow freely, for the highest good of all, so mote it be.” Repeat this statement 3, 7, 9 or 13 times. Allow the candle to burn down all the way until the flame goes out itself. If you have to stop the spell midway, that’s okay too but try to allow the spell to finish. After the candle is burned down, let it cool. Collect the remnants and place them in a bag then into your purse, wallet OR nearby where you make your $ (in your business, office, by your computer, etc.) Once the money spell has manifested to your liking, bury the remnants in the West of your property. Full Moon Money Spell This full moon money spell is an all-day, active spell…but don’t let that scare you from trying. It’s simple AND effective! The first thing is – wait for a Full Moon. What You’ll Need: Green clothing 1 Green OR Gold Stone/Crystal: for example moss agate, pyrite, goldstone, green calcite, emerald, jade, green fluorite, aventurine, or malachite Green foods: enough to eat a serving of green food with each meal. Examples: green beans, spinach, lettuce, kale, collard greens, zucchini, etc. Three dollar bills What To Do: The full day of the Full Moon you will immerse yourself in the idea of all things MONEY. When you wake up in the morning, you’ll take a shower, close your eyes and see the water pouring gold coins and money on top of you from head to foot. You can even sing a song about money while showering to get the mood flowing! Dress yourself in green and gold clothing, jewelry, accessories, shoes, etc. The more green and gold you wear this day, the better! Wrap your stone in the three dollar bills and place in your pocket. With each meal today, eat a serving of GREEN food. Green foods like kale, spinach, collard greens, etc. are linked to money. Go to work or go about your day in your normal routine. But shift your consciousness and tell yourself my money spell chant repetitively, “Money flows freely to me. No blocks shall I see. Money flows freely this Full Moon and henceforth. For the highest good of all. So mote […]

Cinnamon Magic: 12 Ways to Use Cinnamon in Witchcraft https://otherworldlyoracle.com/cinnamon-magic/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=cinnamon-magic https://otherworldlyoracle.com/cinnamon-magic/#comments Sat, 03 Oct 2020 04:25:38 +0000 https://otherworldlyoracle.com/?p=5709 The aroma of cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. The pungent taste on your tongue. You have it in your kitchen. And use it to bake goodies of all different kinds. You might even have cinnamon sticks and powder in your cupboard. But did you know you can use cinnamon in your witchcraft? Let’s talk all thing cinnamon: cinnamon magic properties and 10 easy but powerful uses in the craft. The POWER of Cinnamon Cinnamon, Cinnamomum, is essentially a common spice that’s made from the inner bark of Cinnamomum trees. This genus of tree belongs to the Laurel family and are considered evergreen. These trees emit aromatic oils which have seduced people for centuries. Cinnamon is a spice used mostly in baking and cooking, and it also comes in essential oil form. Cinnamon has been traded and used for thousands of years. Records show since at least 2000 BC. Ancient Egyptian priests used cinnamon in the mummification process, giving it an inevitable link to the spirit world and the dead. It was also given as offering to royalty and to gods and goddesses in ancient times. It has been traded from various countries in tropical Asia and in high demand all over the known world since. Cinnamon Magic Properties Cinnamon is used by magical practitioners and witches of all kinds and for many reasons. Cinnamon’s magic properties include protection, money, strength, love, amplification, divination and connection to the ancestors and the spirit world. Cinnamon is also used medicinally for many reasons including as an anti-inflammatory, for its antioxidants, to lower blood sugar and aid in the body’s insulin-production, and to decrease risk of heart disease. It’s particularly present during two seasons: Autumn and Winter. And is frequently used in dishes, potpourri, essential oil blends, crafts and much more during the holidays. You’ll notice the scent of cinnamon wafting from every witch’s house from Mabon Eve through the Winter holidays like Yule and Saturnalia. You might see it accompanying orange slices on evergreen garlands and wreaths. Or smell it when it’s baked into a pumpkin pie. Whatever the method, this herb is powerful. 12 Sweet and Potent Ways to Use Cinnamon in Your Craft Cinnamon comes in a few forms, making cinnamon magic versatile and fun. Find cinnamon sticks, chips, and powdered at your local grocery store. Cinnamon essential oil is sold by natural food stores and herbal shops. How you use cinnamon in your witchcraft is only limited to your imagination. Here’s a few ideas: 1. Cinnamon Magic With Coffee or Tea Sprinkle cinnamon on your morning coffee and visualize your intention: love, protection, strength, vitality, etc. for the day. Add cinnamon chips to herbal tea or sprinkle over top in the same way. 2. Cinnamon Magic in Bottles and Bags One of my favorite forms of magic is spell bottles and jars. Add cinnamon chips, powder, oil or sticks to your spell bottles, jar, and bags for your intention OR to amplify the effects of the spell. Cinnamon is a known strengthener of any magical intention = it yields more powerful results. 3. Cinnamon Oil as Offering I don’t know if anyone else does this, but I use cinnamon essential oil (among others) as offerings. I sprinkle a few drops on my ancestor and deity candles, on god/goddess statues, and more. It smells amazing and pleases Spirit. 4. Cinnamon Rolls for Joy & Comfort I bet you have cinnamon in your kitchen pantry or cupboard. If you enjoy kitchen magic like me, make a pan of cinnamon rolls this weekend to lighten the household’s mood. Cinnamon rolls are delicious and comforting in times of stress and anxiety. While making/baking, visualize your intentions and smile! Yummy cinnamon magic. Here’s a recipe. 5. Cinnamon Candle Magic The first candle spell I ever cast included a red votive candle and McCormick’s powdered cinnamon. If all you have is a candle, a bit of oil, and some cinnamon, you’re good to go! Sprinkle cinnamon around the candle, or anoint the candle with a bit of oil and roll it into the cinnamon. Great for love, money, protection, and all kinds of spells! 6. Simmering Cinnamon Magic Potpourri You all know how much I love my simmering potpourri spells. SUPER EASY, cheap and effective in the home. Add cinnamon to an Autumn or Christmas simmering potpourri to cleanse, invigorate, and promote love in the home. Here’s our article on Simmering Potpourri Magic to give you ideas. 7. Mulled Wine with Cinnamon Nothing reminds me of Autumn or the Winter holiday season like mulled wine. Great for family dinners, holiday parties, coven meetings, and more. Making mulled wine in a Dutch oven over an open fire or on the stove always makes me feel like I’m brewing a magical potion. Mulled wine wouldn’t be the same without cinnamon sticks. Add for protection, health, love, and more. Here’s a recipe for mulled wine. 8. Door and Floor Washes An old folk magic tradition is working magic into chores. The next time you have to wash your front door or floors, make an infusion of herbs and spices. Include cinnamon for whatever your intentions are that day. Cinnamon brings abundant blessings into the home. Making an infusion is easy: simmer water with herbs on the stove for 10+ minutes, strain and use as door wash or mop water. 9. Cinnamon Stick Runes & Symbol Craft I’ve seen a lot of cinnamon stick decorations during Christmas time. It’s as easy as gluing or stringing cinnamon sticks together to make a symbol. Witches can use this craft to make runes, pentagrams, etc. Pinterest has some great crafting tutorials – just search for “cinnamon stick craft”. Then add string or ribbon to the top and hang your cinnamon magic runes above your altar, around the home, and even in your car. 10. Snickerdoodle Cinnamon Magic Snickerdoodles are basically sugar cookies rolled in cinnamon. Sounds delicious, right? It is. Add a little magick to your cookies by visualizing your intentions while […]

Autumn Harvest Blessings Spell: POTENT Door Wash Recipe https://otherworldlyoracle.com/autumn-harvest-blessings-spell/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=autumn-harvest-blessings-spell https://otherworldlyoracle.com/autumn-harvest-blessings-spell/#comments Wed, 23 Sep 2020 04:07:09 +0000 https://otherworldlyoracle.com/?p=5646 We all need blessings in our lives, right? Autumn is the perfect time to harvest prosperity and joy within the home. An easy and effective spell consists of making an herbal infusion with Autumn aromas and then washing down your front door. Here we provide our Members with our favorite Autumn Harvest Front Door Wash recipe and spell. What You’ll Need: Pot (medium to large size) Water (16+ oz): if you have sun or moon charged water, even better! Cloves (1 tbsp): cloves are great for protection and purification Nutmeg (1 tbsp): for prosperity and good luck Apple slices (3): to connect to the Harvest season and invoke the Goddess Cinnamon stick (1 stick OR 1 tbsp powdered): to amplify the effects of the spell Star anise pod (1): banishes evil Washcloth / rag How to Make Autumn Harvest Front Door Wash: Put your water in the pot and set it on the stove on medium heat. Add all herbal ingredients. Let the water come to barely a boil then turn it down to simmer. Let it simmer for at least 15 minutes on low. Remove from heat and allow it to cool. Pour into a cool bowl. How to Cast the Autumn Harvest Blessings Spell After your front door wash has cooled, put it in a bowl or container. Take the door wash and your rag to the front door. Depending on how dirty your front door is, you might consider wiping it down with windex or some other cleaner prior to this spell. You don’t want a lot of dirt getting into your front door wash. Dip the rag into the front door wash and ring it out. Begin on the interior of your front door and wash from the bottom of the door up to the top (wetting and ringing out your rag as you go along). As you do this, welcome Autumn blessings into your home by saying or singing, “Autumn Harvest gods, fill this home with love, joy and prosperity. We thank thee. So mote it be.” You should also visualize blessings entering your home through the front door in whatever way comes naturally. You can see it as a bright orange or yellow light pouring in. Or see it in its physical form – money in your bank accounts, smiling faces, etc. Once you’re done with the interior of the front door, go outside and wash the front door down in the same manner as the interior. When you’re finished, pour the front door wash outside by your front door (on the ground). And thank your gods/ancestors/guides/Universe.

Peace & Prosperity Floor Sweep for A Household Needing Serenity https://otherworldlyoracle.com/peace-prosperity-floor-sweep/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=peace-prosperity-floor-sweep https://otherworldlyoracle.com/peace-prosperity-floor-sweep/#comments Thu, 16 Jan 2020 22:59:06 +0000 https://otherworldlyoracle.com/?p=4493 This is one of my own personal magical recipes for Bella Donna Members Only. Cleansings are SO important to rid our sacred spaces and homes of nasty negative energy and entities. I love smudging my home, but let’s be real – smudging doesn’t quite hit all of the nooks and crannies on the floor, now does it? To get a really deep purification of your home means to cleanse the floors too! And one way to do that is to concoct a magical floor wash OR floor sweep. In this article, I give you my personal floor sweep recipe for peace and prosperity. What You’ll Need: Salt: 4-5 cups depending on the size of your house (I use pink Himalayan salt for added peaceful vibes) Sunflower petals (dried): 1-2 cups Bee Pollen: one-ounce packet (the brand I use is Badia and is sold at many grocery stores in the spice aisle!) Sage (dried): 1/2 cup (can be culinary OR white sage) A broom and dustpan OR heavy duty vacuum (your choice) What To Do: Mix your salt, sunflower petals, bee pollen, and sage in a mortar and pestle OR a large bowl and mallet if you don’t have a mortar. If you plan to use a vacuum, grind/pound down the larger pieces of petals and sage. Start in the north facing rooms of the house and LIGHTLY sprinkle your floor sweep onto the carpets and tile/hard floors while saying OR singing: PURITY, PEACE, HAPPINESS, PROSPERITY. Repeatedly sing or say these words throughout the entire process!!! This is building energy for your ritual. Go from room to room North – East – South – West and sprinkle your floor sweep all over the floors. If you have to go back and make more mixture, that’s fine too! Keep repeating PURITY, PEACE, HAPPINESS, PROSPERITY the entire time. If you don’t have pets or small children, leave the floor sweep down for as long as you’d like. For me, I had to lay the floor sweep and vacuum it right up because my cat will literally eat anything on the floor! When you’re ready, sweep or vacuum up the floor sweep and pray PURITY, PEACE, HAPPINESS, PROSPERITY, visualizing all wonderful things for you and your household as you go along. When you’re done, claim it and say “so be it!” More for Bella Donna Members: Purifying Isis Moon Milk Bath Sacred Mother Goddess Dedication Ritual Hungry Ghosts: Ancestors & Illness

14+ Money Spirits & How to Attract Money Spiritually by Working With Them https://otherworldlyoracle.com/how-to-attract-money-spiritually-money-spirits/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=how-to-attract-money-spiritually-money-spirits https://otherworldlyoracle.com/how-to-attract-money-spiritually-money-spirits/#comments Thu, 31 Oct 2019 15:15:16 +0000 https://otherworldlyoracle.com/?p=3888 Need some extra cash? Witches have a myriad of magical ways to attract money right at their wand-tips including working with money spirits who will bring good luck and abundance. Learn how to attract money spiritually by calling on these ten ancient money spirits from various pantheons. What Is a Money Spirit, Exactly? Witches work with all kinds of spirits to manifest various intentions in the real world. For instance, some witches might invoke gods and goddesses of love to draw romance and passion into their lives. Aphrodite, Venus, and Freya are a few examples. Invoking peaceful spirits like Kuan Yin brings harmony and healing to one’s life and home. So what does a money spirit do, exactly? By working with a money spirit, i.e. a god or goddess linked to prosperity, you draw financial prosperity into your life. How to Work With Money Spirits Successfully Just like with any spirit, money spirits have their own cultures, origins, personalities, likes and dislikes. The first thing you should always do before invoking or working with a money spirit is to get to know them. Read all you can about them online, in books, listen on podcasts, etc. Most prosperity deities have myths attached to them, ancient cultural traditions, and more. In addition to learning their history, setting up sacred space for that spirit works wonders. Most spirits, like us, need fuel for energy. Offerings and a space to dwell give them the energy to do the work you need them to do. In this case, bringing home the money. By constantly asking a money spirit to bring you money, and never reciprocating, these spirits might leave and never come back. And, in some cases, you might anger them and they take their money with them when they leave. Learn what they like as far as offerings, and when you ask them for a favor, give them something in return. Or beforehand. Money Spirits from Various Cultures Nearly every ancient culture has a deity they linked to prosperity. These could be earth goddesses and gods of grain, deities that grant wishes, or saints that bring good luck. Our recommendation is to seek out the money spirit closest to you. Or who you feel drawn to work with. 1. Fortuna (a.k.a. Lady Luck) Fortuna is a Roman goddess of luck. The name Fortuna = fortune. In ancient belief, she brought good luck but sometimes bad luck depending on the individual and situation. In modern times, most people know her as Lady Luck, and she is often summoned unknowingly by gamblers. You might have heard someone say, “I wonder if Lady Luck is on my side tonight.” Place her emblem, The Wheel of Fortune, on her altar. Offer this ancient money spirit portions of honey, milk and poppies or a mixture of these ingredients. 2. La Madama La Madama is a beloved spirit in the Latin Espitisimo religion. She particularly favors fortune tellers, healers, mediums and psychics. Some fortunate people in these professions inherit a La Madama of their own. There are multiple La Madama spirits, just like guardian angels or spirit guides. If you are blessed with a La Madama spirit, she will bring great fortune in your profession. Her image looks similar to vintage Aunt Jemima. Her colors are red and white and she loves offerings of tobacco, rum, flowers, herbs, oils, playing cards, seashells, etc. 3. Joan the Wad Joan the Wad is a money spirit of the faery variety. She’s found in Cornwall and is Queen of the Pixies. While most pixies are tricksters and may lead the unsuspecting to misfortune, Joan the Wad leads the worthy to good fortune and happiness. You can use her image when gambling to bring money OR place her on your altar. Joan the Wad is a pixie and therefore is associated with fire and water, and she may enjoy flowers and sweet offerings. Most fairies will partake of desserts like cake and cookies, as well as fresh fruit, cream and mead. 4. Mami Waters Originating from West and Central Africa, Mami Waters is beloved by many because of her generosity. If you guessed that she’s Mother of the Waters, you were right! Not only does she bestow wealth to her followers, she heals illnesses and brings joy and love. She’s associated and depicted as a mermaid or a snake and loves fancy things. Bring her offerings of non-alcoholic sweet beverages like lemonade or Coca-Cola. Mami Waters also loves make-up, mirrors and dolls. 5. Lord Ganesha, Remover of Obstacles In the Hindu religion, Lord Ganesha is one of the most popular deities for a reason. He is typically depicted with the head of an elephant, and he’s known widely for removing obstacles. This means, if you have a blockage that’s preventing you from money-flow, Ganesha is a great deity to petition. He is thought to be good luck and to bring blessings to those who are worthy. 6. Mermaids As Money Spirits? Mermaids are either benevolent or malevolent, so be careful which mermaids you call up. They’ve been known to rescue drowning victims OR purposely drag people into the depths. In the same breath, mermaids are known to grant wishes, bring prosperity and fertility and teach prophecy. They are linked to the moon and water and enjoy seashells, music, combs and mirrors. Call on them to help you attract money spiritually. Just be careful not to let them drag you under. 7. Dwarves Dwarves are mythical creatures in Scandinavian folklore and mythology. They live deep in the mountains and in caves and have a long-standing reputation for being miners. They know where the earth’s treasures are, and they will aid in money workings. Be careful when working with dwarves though, as they can be capricious and sometimes downright mean. This type of money spirit can be unpredictable. We recommend reading more about dwarves in Norse mythology before attempting to invoke them. 8. Dragons Dragons are guardians of the earth and its treasures. This is […]
